Couples have had to make considerable sacrifices this year. Venue changes, smaller guest lists, etc. Many have had to reschedule more than once. So we were delighted that Nadeen and Khodor got to celebrate their wedding at Byblos in Detroit. It was elegant and lacked nothing despite the smaller guest list. Both Nadeen and her sister played string instruments which led to Nadeen wanting a string quartet on her wedding day. We played American Pop music along with songs from musicals as guests were arriving. Phantom of the Opera was a big hit as well as Game of Thrones. DJ Rawad took over for the zaffe, the couples grand entrance to the reception. A troupe of drummers played traditional upbeat Arabic music accompanied by DJ Rawad and the Arabic Band. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
