It was an honor and a privilege to perform the wedding music for Janelle and Brian this past month. Janelle is the wedding coordinator for Cherry Creek, whom we have greatly enjoyed working with over the years. To be selected by her to provide the music for her wedding day is a special honor. As she was the bride, Eric Lubeck acted as the wedding coordinator and was a great help with the timing and cues. As the pictures demonstrate, the holiday decorations are always stunning at Cherry Creek during December. In keeping with the season, the couple chose Christmas music!
The mothers were seated to “O Holy Night,” while Janelle made a special request and processed down to the Beatles hit “Happy Christmas.” Carl Vogler of Our Special Wedding Day officiated and included the readings “These Are The Hands” and “The Kiss.” One of the most tender moments of the wedding occurred when Brian spoke to Janelle just prior to the exchanging of the vows. Every woman dreams of hearing such beautiful words spoken to her by her handsome fiancé. It was a sweet moment to be treasured, so it was wonderful that both Videographer 3rd Street and Photographer Randall Scott were able to capture it. The only deviation from the Christmas theme was Janelle’s request for the “Game of Thrones Theme” as their recessional. The phones came out and guests started recording as many were surprised and delighted to hear a string quartet perform the theme of the popular HBO show. It was a beautiful wedding for a lovely couple, and we send our best wishes to them as they begin married life together!
