The venues at Goldner Walsh Gardens combines natural beauty and landscape with a hundred-year-old historic gem in Pontiac, Michigan. Originally a cut-flower production greenhouse dating back to 1890, it is located on a natural rolling hill landscape that that has grown into a unique set of greenhouse wedding venues, which include an amphitheater, greenhouses, and gardens across 12 acres making a truly magnificent and memorable greenhouse wedding venue.
Ina and Chris were married at Immaculate Conception in Hamtramck and chose Goldner Walsh for their cocktail hour and reception. The staff there is incredibly helpful and pleasant. We were struck by the beauty of the floral arrangements created by the staff floral designers. Jennie and her staff from Beautiful Day Planning were on top of their game and the event was relaxed and fun filled. It was clear that the couple has deep ties to family and tradition. The strikingly beautiful wedding bread, Korovai, is a traditional Ukrainian wedding bread that represents health, happiness and prosperity.
The guests enjoyed cocktails while we played a wide assortment of music of various styles including songs from the Lumineers, Sting, Gershwin and The Byrds. It was clearly a special night for this couple, their family and guests. We wish them a long and happy life together.
