Anyone in the wedding industry will tell you that the pleasure you receive from giving your best effort to a couple's wedding day is worth the hard work and long hours. Scott and Katherine were high school sweethearts. Though divorced from each other, they found love again and re-committed their lives to each other in the presence of their family and closest friends.
The small, intimate affair began in the rock garden of Meadow Brook Hall where Ali Lazzeri of Blue Heaven Ceremonies officiated. Katherine began her processional with the traditional Bridal Chorus but halfway down the aisle, the music took an unexpected turn and we switched to Led Zeppelin's Kashmir. As Scott put it, "This epitomizes Katherine's free spirit and fun-loving nature in a unique and unforgettable way."
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Christopher Wren Dining Room.
The gorgeous cake was the work of Manninos in Sterling Heights. Mike Staff Productions handled all the photography and videography. It's always a pleasure to work with them. Flowers were the creation of Floral Designs by Lori and of course, Brooke Graber and the Meadow Book Hall staff handled the catering. It was an elegant affair. We enjoyed playing for the guests through dinner and wish Scott and Katherine the very best. Thank you for the honor of being a part of your special day!
