What a great day of fun and sun for the Italian car community! As promised, it was a day that celebrated the sights and sounds of classic and modern Italian cars and bikes.
Since 1979, the Detroit Alpha Romeo Club has orchestrated the symphony of roaring Italian engines as they rev to life in harmony. Car enthusiasts brought their Italian car or bike, indulged in friendly banter with fellow enthusiasts, and basked in the shared passion. The event was held at the Rochester Municipal Park in Rochester, Michigan and showcased over 150 vehicles this year. Food trucks were onsite and many brought a picnic basket, chair, and blanket. We, the Rondo String Quartet, along with the community of Italian engines provided the music. We started with our Italian repertoire which sparked several conversations followed by classic rock which was a great hit. We look forward to being a part of this event and the friendly car show community next year.
