In this time of uncertainty, it's been interesting to watch how people cope and adapt. Kaleigh and Scott certainly exemplified "adaptability" and with the help of their family created a wedding day that may have been better than their original plans. The ceremony was held at Freedom Hill Banquet and Event Center. Kyle, the brother of the bride, stood in as the officiant and did a great job! He interjected family stories, humor, and a personal touch along with the E.E. Cummings reading "I Carry Your Heart with Me." A cocktail hour was held outside directed by the very capable staff of the Event Center. The guests were shuttled to the bride's home where a dinner catered by Chef Bobby was held under an elegant tent. We heard there were fireworks planned for later in the evening as well. Congratulations to this lovely couple and their families for showing us all how to keep the emphasis on what's really important in this unsettled times: love and family!
