A wedding at the Masonic is both traditional and unique. Megan and Joe were married at the historic Masonic in Detroit recently. The Masonic coordinator Melanie Matics kept things running smoothly and friend of the couple, Spencer Walz, officiated. Aunt Paula read a beautiful poem titled "To Love is Not To Possess" by James Kavanaugh a line from which was used for the title of this blog. Aunt Kathleen read the touching "Blessing of the Hands" by Rev. Daniel Harris.
The couple exchanged vows the chapel under a trellis of elegant flowers by florist MK Carroll Designs. Jennifer of Capture Couture Photography and widely regarded videographer Tyler Mulville were there to capture the day for a lifetime of memories. We wish this couple the very best as they begin this next chapter of their lives.
