The vibrant colors of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Saint Clair Shores was the perfect setting for Stephanie and Mark's wedding ceremony. Photographer Kayla Bouren and her assistant, Lydia, took every advantage of the space to capture and immortalize the wedding ceremony and beauty of the sanctuary. In keeping with the traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church, the music selection was traditional including Ave Maria and works by Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Handel and Puccini.
Guests moved to the State Savings Bank in Detroit for cocktails and dinner. Here was yet another stunning venue! The State Savings Bank is a 1900 landmark building and part of the National Register of Historic Places. The 3-story neoclassical structure is in the Beaux Arts-style with a white marble interior. Inside, carved Roman arched colonnades with bronze grillwork decorate the walls. With over 14,000 square feet of flexible floor space, this historic venue was decorated with gorgeous floral arrangements by Breath of Spring Florist and perfect decor and place settings by Couture Events.
Nicholas from The Elysium Experience and his assistant Thomas, assisted us with amplification for this celebratory crowd and took over the music making following cocktails for the party! We know everyone had a great time.
Congratulations Stephanie and Mark. We wish you both a world of happiness and joy.
