Maria and Matthew had a sunny Michigan summer day for their wedding at the Italian Cultural Center in Clinton Township. Father Leo Gubin officiated this family filled event that was highlighted by a beautiful rendition of “The Prayer” from Camelot by Pamela Berger and her daughter. The couple chose a diverse selection of music for the ceremony. During the seating of guests, we played songs from Led Zeppelin’s “All My Love” to Beyoncé’s “Halo”. The wedding party walked to the Hawaiian version of Somewhere Ove the Rainbow” made famous by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole while Maria chose to stay traditional with Canon in D for her bridal processional.
We had the pleasure of playing for the cocktail hour and sat beside the gorgeous wedding cake created by Cakes by Connie. The music thrilled the youngest guests who danced and giggled throughout the hour. Oh to have their energy! Dante Williams was sure to get the older guests on their feet for dancing and celebrating as well. Congratulations and best wishes to Maria and Matthew!
