We Love Because He First Loved Us

Mary Clare and Colin were married at Ste. Anne de Detroit Catholic Church. The ceremony opened with bagpiper, Donald Ross, leading the processional. It was a majestic sound in the sanctuary. Basilica of Sainte Anne de Detroit was founded in 1701 by French colonists in New France, and is the second-oldest continuously operating Roman Catholic parish in the United States. The parish has gone through many changes in its 300-plus years of history. The basilica stands today as an active parish, shrine and historical treasure and landmark in a revitalized, multi-ethnic, bilingual neighborhood.

Mary Clare and Colin exchanged vows before family and friends as led by Msgn. Charles Kosanke. Organist Joe Moss and soprano, Angela Theis enhanced the service with beautiful music. We were delighted to work with these fine musicians along with other wedding colleagues. Viviano Florist designed arrangements that enhanced the sanctity of the Basilica and the highly regarded Mike Staff Productions provided photography and videography services for the couple. Piper Donald Ross and organist Joe Moss led the couple out for the recessional concluding the ceremony.
